Clash of the Titans full trailer

Alright, so it's not Trailer Tuesday but I couldn't resist posting up the first full trailer for Clash of the Titans - which hit the interwebs yesterday.

As regular readers of this blog may have guessed by now, this remake of the cheesy 1981 fantasy adventure is shaping up as my most highly anticipated film of 2010. And all this despite the fact that the movie, like the original, clearly takes major liberties with the original Greek myth of hero Perseus, and his battle with the fearsome Gorgon, Medusa.

Clash of the Titans 2010 looks fantastic, and this new full trailer gives the viewer some tantalising glimpses of mythological beasties, including Medusa, harpies, giant scorpions, the Kraken and the new badass Pegasus - now in sleek and sexy limited edition black.

This trailer above actually leaked online earlier this week but was yanked down at Warner Brothers' insistence before I could link to it (I did at least get to watch it before it vanished). Now it's back up in high definition and I'm drooling over the visual delights. Even if the Titans remake is completely mindless, it seems to be stuffed with mouth-watering eye candy.

And fortunately we only have to wait just 3 months - until 26 March - to see Clash of the Titans, as opposed to the peak midyear blockbuster season of May through July.

Out of interest, the first official Clash of the Titans posters appeared online last week. You can see the full set here.

Perseus should be turned to stone in that promotional poster.

I think he should be OK, seeing as he's not looking her in the face. Judging my the poster he's already using the head to turn the Kraken to stone.
