Harry Potter 7 release date

Let the pre-ordering special offers begin! The 7th and final Harry Potter book, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows is having its worldwide release in English-speaking countries on Saturday, 21 July at 1 minute past midnight.

This information was announced yesterday on JK Rowling's website. You can read more about it at The Leaky Cauldron here.

I'm seriously considering going to one of Exclusive Books' premiere parties this year. At the more popular stores they have a reputation for being more like fancy dress rock concerts. Going as a Death Eater to terrorise the little kids sounds like a lot of fun.

Anyway, to celebrate the release date news, here's a pic of cinematic Harry Potter, Daniel Radcliffe in a promotional pic from a new theatrical production of Equus in London.

Young buff, suggestively nude men and horses - what more could a girlie girl want first thing on a Friday morning?

Here's the full gallery of Equus pics.

At present, the nanny state is having heart failure over these images. I've read tons of outraged articles all week about it. No one seems to realise that he's all growed up now.

Ah, the love that dare not speak its name! The love between man and horse.

Damn prudish censors, if Danny boy wants to be "mount his steed" onstage, who are we to judge? Live and let live I say.

Yep, love between a man and his horse... until the relationship turns sour and the man gouges the horse's eyes out.

Paul, stop posting smut on my blog;)
