Dark Knight political posturing

This is some pretty cool, super-early, viral marketing for Batman Begins sequel, The Dark Knight.

Don't forget that the Gotham City district attorney in Batman Begins was killed, so there will naturally need to be a replacement in this movie. Enter charismatic Harvey Dent, the seemingly squeaky-clean attorney with politicical ambitions. The only problem? Dent has spent his whole life suppressing his rage out of guilt. All it takes is one acid attack to unleash his long-chained alter ego, the coin-flipping Two Face.

Well, these events may not all be depicted in The Dark Knight... if Bat fans remember correctly Harvey Dent (Billy Dee Williams) appeared merely as a district attorney, and not his split personality, in Tim Burton's original Batman. Who knows? Maybe Heath Ledger's Joker will coax out Two Face this time around?

Anyway, there's also a new synopsis for the film, according to SuperHeroHype:

Batman raises the stakes in his war on crime. With the help of Lieutenant Jim Gordon and District Attorney Harvey Dent, Batman sets out to dismantle the remaining criminal organizations that plague the city streets. The partnership proves to be effective, but they soon find themselves prey to a reign of chaos unleashed by a rising criminal mastermind known to the terrified citizens of Gotham as The Joker.
