Introducing Audiophile SA

A new website joined the online entertainment community in South Africa this week: Audiophile SA is a comprehensive new music website that covers everything from death metal to black gospel. A sister project to gaming website, Headshot SA, Audiophile SA has already been fully embraced by the local music industry.

Audiophile SA's content consists predominantly of reviews - new international and local albums, music DVDs and live performances are all covered. You can also find out what's happening in your area with the Gig Guide and read about the latest, exciting signings and developments involving the local record companies.

I'll be contributing music reviews as well, so be sure to check out Audiophile SA.

Oh, and in an unrelated note, thanks for the birthday wishes everyone who contacted me over the course of the day.

Work was work, but the evening was a pleasant prawn-filled seafood dinner at home with family... followed by Scrabble and card games - played on some very dodgy nudie cards that date back to the 1970s, when breasts were au naturale (AKA saggy).

In terms of birthday loot (for those of you interested) my main gift was a pair of waterproof hiking boots which I'd picked out with my mother last week, 2 DVDs of my favourite Harry Potter movies (the first, The Philosopher's Stone, and the most recent, Order of the Phoenix), an elbow guard and gum guard (some necessary Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu protection in my old age), some bargain bin comics and a can of pepper spray.

The boyfriend has been AWOL with work again since Tuesday and will only be back late on Saturday evening, so I'm hoping for some kind of spoilage then.
