I'm particularly excited about the Bad Day LA demo (unfortunately the game seems to have debuted and vanished in the States without so much as a blip on the gaming radar), and FEAR Combat, the free stand-alone multiplayer portion of FEAR, with at least 7 maps in which to cause bloody carnage.

It's my absolutely favourite Multiplayer FPS, because for once I'm actually pretty good at it, armed with my shotgun and incinerating plasma gun.

Just Cause looks interesting.

Just Cause looks a bit cheesy - GTA in South America with a helluva lot more parachuting.

Now Portal! Wow. I was blown away by the trailer and the game's inventiveness. I'm actually thinking about getting Half Life 2 Episode 2, and enduring the Steam nightmare, for Portal and Team Fortress 2.
