Tis the Season... for Christmas Through the Home

So, the Christmas decorations are going up in shopping malls, and Christmas cards, wrapping paper, Advent calendars, tinsel and hats are already on sale. Then again, Christmas is just over 10 weeks away, and if the sight of festive goodies triggers jolly, generous Christmas spirit in some people a few months early, well, what's wrong with that?

Anyway, Durbanites and other KZN-based lovers of all things Christmas-y, may be pleased to know that the annual Christmas Through the Home craft house opens its doors in 2 weeks' time. If you've never been, it's worth checking out; not only because the place feels like a theme park but because you can pick up some beautiful handmade Christmas decorations, cards and gifts, made by a talented team of crafters.

Why rush to Game and fork out for nasty-looking, assembly-line plastic baubles when for the same price - if not lower - you can buy unique, lovingly made equivalents with a great deal more character? Just remember, the earlier you visit the Christmas House during the week, the better the selection of goodies available. There's limited stock and many of the best things are snapped up early.
